Midnight Madness - The Last Race of 2023
(5 kilometers run; time 20:10 PR, pace 4:02/km)
The first of the two runs on that evening. The second run started 10 minutes after midnight
tomorrow. I went on the podium again, this time in 1st place, because I won my age group:)
Note
It sounded like a crazy idea to go run two 5K races and have a New Year 2024 celebration in between! But give it a try and I am happy I did. It was a well-organized event with a great atmosphere.
I ran hard because I wanted to beat the 20:00 time (4:00/km pace). I did not succeed with this, because the time was 20:10, but it was still my personal record on 5K and I am slowly getting there.
